How commission works when someone helps us get connected to an artist, DJ, or celebrity booking

How It Works

When someone helps Change The Wav get connected to a booking — by introducing us to an artist, DJ, or celebrity, or by bringing us a booking opportunity — that person earns a commission on the booking. The structure below explains what the person making the connection receives.

Tier 1

30% Commission

For bookings up to $6,000, the person who helps make the connection receives a 30% commission of the total booking amount.

Example

A $5,000 booking = $1,500 commission to the person who connected us.

Tier 2

$2,000 Flat Rate

For bookings above $6,000 up to $10,000, a flat rate of $2,000 is paid to the person who made the connection, in place of the percentage commission.

Tier 3

Negotiated

Any booking above $10,000 must be negotiated and agreed upon in writing before the booking is secured.

Before Any Work Begins

Commission in Writing First

The exact commission amount will be confirmed in writing before Change The Wav seeks or contacts any artist, DJ, or celebrity on behalf of the booking party — so the person making the connection knows their payout before any work starts.

Change The Wav Confirms the Percentage

Change The Wav is the party responsible for confirming the commission percentage before any work begins on a referral. No outreach to an artist, DJ, or celebrity happens until the percentage is agreed.
